Animal Care Center Services
The Animal Care Center is prepared to meet the needs of your four legged family members through our modern facilities, equipment and knowledgeable staff. We are not owned by a corporation so every service can be tailored to you or your pet’s specific concerns.
We offer:
- General wellness examinations and routine vaccinations
- Getting your new puppy or kitten off to a good start and helping to maintain good health for years.
- Microchip identification systems to help insure your pet is returned to you if ever lost.
- Internal and external parasite detection and control including
fleas, ticks, mange and ear mites, heartworms, and intestinal fauna.
- Comprehensive diagnostic services ranging from urinalyses, blood tests, biopsies, radiological studies, bacterial culture and sensitivities, to ultrasound (sonogram) evaluations.
- Outpatient or hospitalized treatment of injuries, illness, metabolic disease, dermatology concerns, and neoplasia (tumors and nodules).
- Specialized surgeries of internal and external soft tissue and skeletal systems in addition to routine procedures such as spaying and neutering.
- Oral / dental care with scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments and extractions if needed. Often overlooked, dental disease can lead to systemic involvement including liver, kidney or heart problems.
- Lifelong counseling and treatment of allergies, skin conditions, behavior and neurological disorders, dietary management, and geriatric medicine up to the point where it may be necessary to say goodbye with compassion and dignity.
- Through our association with a broad network of specialists, both locally, and throughout the country, we can provide state of the art diagnoses and treatment of almost any problem confronting your pet from MRI and CT scans to cardiology, ophthalmology, and cancer therapy.
